Our Vision For You
We want to help you take back control of your life and your body. We want to guide you in learning how to challenge the current beliefs around what is classified as ‘healthy living’. Do you want to become empowered to make healthy decisions and to know why? Then we can help you achieve this! We want to improve your overall health and wellbeing by making you stronger both in body and mind. To do this we need to create a better mental focus in order to achieve your goals. With this you will have more energy to concentrate on what is truly important to you. Providing you with the motivation and confidence to create the life and family you dream of and deserve.
Trying to conceive can be a lonely and isolating time. Couples in general do not announce a pregnancy until after the 12 week scan and it is certainly not very common to share that they are trying to get pregnant. We spend most of our adult lives trying not to get pregnant and then when the timing is right and a decision is made to try it just might not happen in the time frame that you have hoped for. This can lead to a number of feelings like anger, frustration, stress and sadness.
Your partner plays a crucial role, not only in the actual baby making, but also as your main pillar of support. However, men are not programmed to feel the same as women about child bearing, they will never experience pregnancy and therefore do not have the same emotional involvement as a woman.
‘One Harvard Study led by Dr Alice Domar showed that women participating in a support group were almost three times more likely to get pregnant within a year compared with those who received medical treatment alone (Domar et all, 2000).’
With this in mind we have designed our course with support as a key part.
We have created a forum where you can log on (using an anonymous username if desired). There will be weekly hot topics related to fertility i.e stress, sex, ovulation tracking and many more. The overall aim of the forum is to provide a platform where every participant on a specific course can interact with each other, share stories, ask questions, and ultimately help each other through the process.
